 Dave Hartmann
PGA of Canada, Class A Professional
Director of Golf Instruction & Award Winning Teaching Professional
Dave Hartmann has been a Certified Class A CPGA golf professional for 25 years and former professional playing pro with extensive experience playing on various European and Canadian Tours. His teaching philosophy focuses on the fundamentals behind a good golf swing to allow golfers to have a consistent swing from one game to another. "My strategy involves giving a clear idea on how to build a repeatable swing which is more powerful and requires less physical effort to produce and allows the student to improve at his/her own pace, with a clear idea of what to do to get to the next level of development in their game."
Having taught his Power Lesson teaching system to thousands of guests/clients at hospitality venues (up to 100 lessons per day) at over 35 Major PGA Tour corporate events during the Masters, US Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup Matches, etc, Dave has the right approach and technical qualifications to help the customers of corporate client's to achieve their personal game improvement goals indoors or outdoors at the range and on the golf course. Dave also has extensive playing and teaching experience coaching individuals privately and through various corporate outings around the world in Canada, United Sates of America, Eastern Europe, Russia and warmer parts such as in the Caribbean and Australia.
When you meet Dave Hartmann it will not take you long to realize that this CPGA Class A Professional is a great sportsman and a natural motivational teacher. Dave makes his students feel energized and entertained to help them become more receptive to learn. His teaching career began in Toronto at Donalda Country Club where he spent 10 seasons before moving onto Cardinal Golf Club and then finally to Vienna, Austria at the prestigious Colony Golf Club for 3 seasons as head teaching professional. Dave has also competed in long drive competitions worldwide and uses this experience to teach intermediate and advanced level men, women and junior golfers how to achieve maximum power potential. His longest drive has been over 400 yards on the golf course.
Dave takes his students from the practice range and onto the golf course during his VIP POWER Lesson golf schools to maximize each student's potential. He uses video analysis as an important training aid to show his students their strengths and weakness while helping them to remember what to practice on the range before playing their next round of golf.
In December 2011 Dave and his team launched the Power Lesson mobile golf app to continue teaching his students in Canada and across various countries through the easy to use mobile golf app.
